Soul Space Farm

Soul Space Farm is in year three of a five-year vision to build a farm rooted in connection, healing, and a little bit of silliness. Founder Amy brought seven years of farming experience and a 15-acre vegetable operation with her when she moved from Chicago to Washington to deepen her work with the land.

After completing the Practicum in Sustainable Agriculture, Amy and her husband Kevin joined Viva Farms King County in 2024 and settled in Woodinville. They’re now focusing on learning how to grow herbs and flowers, reconnecting with the soil through hands-on learning and lots of barefoot time in the rows.

At its heart, Soul Space stands for Space of Unconditional Love; a place where land gives freely, and people grow alongside the plants. As Amy puts it:

“We’re dreaming of a farm where people feel like they’ve stumbled into something soulful and totally original; a place where food and flowers grow for the community, friendships bloom, and a chihuahua might sass you for stepping on the basil.”

Soul Space Farm se encuentra en el tercer año de una visión a cinco años para construir una granja basada en la conexión, la sanación… y un toque de diversión. Su fundadora, Amy, llegó a Washington desde Chicago con siete años de experiencia agrícola y una operación hortícola de 15 acres, decidida a profundizar su relación con la tierra.

Tras completar la Práctica en Agricultura Sostenible, Amy y su esposo Kevin se unieron a la incubadora de Viva Farms King County en 2024, estableciéndose en Woodinville. Hoy se enfocan en el cultivo de hierbas y flores, reconectando con la tierra a través del aprendizaje práctico y largas jornadas descalzos entre las hileras de cultivo.

En esencia, Soul Space significa “espacio de amor incondicional”: un lugar donde la tierra da generosamente y las personas crecen junto a las plantas. Como dice Amy:

“Soñamos con una granja donde la gente sienta que ha tropezado con algo conmovedor y totalmente original; un lugar donde brotan alimentos y flores para la comunidad, florecen amistades… y un chihuahua te regaña si pisas la albahaca”.
