Metta Farm

Metta Farm is a 1/4 acre micro farm. Metta is a Pali (ancient Indian) word that means loving-kindness, which is the farm’s core value, and the way every living being is treated on the farm. 

Sherry left her past career in the corporate world to pursue farming due to her love for nature and her passion for growing. Sherry is planning to grow lots of specialty Asian vegetables that are less commonly grown locally.

La Granja Metta es una microgranja de 1.5 hectáreas cuyo nombre proviene del pali —una lengua ancestral de la India— y significa amor benevolente. Este valor es el principio fundamental de la granja y guía el trato hacia todos los seres vivos que la habitan.

Sherry dejó atrás una carrera en el mundo empresarial para dedicarse a la agricultura, impulsada por su amor por la naturaleza y su pasión por el cultivo. Esta temporada, planea cultivar una gran variedad de verduras asiáticas poco comunes en la región, aportando diversidad y nuevos sabores a su comunidad.
