Local & Collaborative
We are a collaboration of non-profit, business, and government groups committed to expanding the local agricultural economy by connecting local farmers to services, information, and technical resources.
Education & Training
The Begin to Farm Network provides beginning farmers with education, training and technical assistance for launching and operating successful farm businesses. This effort is a partnership between several local, regional, and national organizations. including the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture’s Beginning Farmer Rancher Development Program.
Services provided:
Classroom-based education in sustainable agriculture
Bilingual classroom based poultry production and 1:1 mentoring
Bilingual land-based farm business startup, incubation and technical assistance
Bilingual workshops covering sustainable agriculture and access to capital
Farmland access and farmland protection, access and transfer technical assistance
