Farmer Chloe Lewis grows vegetables with a cook’s mind, meaning the farm has a new small row of something different planted several times a week. She took the Viva Farms Practicum in Sustainable Agriculture course in 2022 and started farming as Word of Mouth farm at Viva Farms King County in 2023. Previously, she worked at Local Roots in Duvall, WA and studied soil science at Berkeley. She personally delivers CSA shares to her own neighborhood of North Capitol Hill, Seattle.
