Artemis Farms is a queer-owned vegetable farm growing regional, heirloom, and culturally relevant foods on Coast Salish land in Woodinville, Washington. Co-owned by Rae and Ari, they have an intense curiosity about growing crops, cuisines of the world, and local food justice. They believe in the tangible impact food has on people and opportunities and are eager to help grow local, sustainable food for Seattle communities. Artemis Farms grows specialty varieties that emphasize diversity, taste, cultural availability, and adaptation to our regional ecology. They grow food to feed our bodies and spirits and to build community outside of global markets. Ari and Rae believe in reciprocal stewardship with plants, people, and the land they grow on. They manage the soil and their small plot with a series of regenerative and ecologically-based practices that exceed organic standards. Find their produce through their CSA and on Farmstand Local Foods.
